TOOLKIT 2: CHARACTER DESIGN - LESSON 5

Justin started our lesson with a presentation about facial expressions for people, objects and animals. After finishing talking about people, he asked us to choose two of the feelings he talked about and sketch them.
He then talked about objects and how we can use them to create character. He assigned us an object and we had to design it with an expression. My object was 'house' and I chose to create a sad house.
After objects, Justin talked about animals and how we can use their features to show emotions. He gave us an animal to draw with facial expressions. My animal was a hippo.
For the second part of our lesson, we focused on our project's character and drawing their facial expressions. I decided to experiment with emotions other than anger.
