Hey Sandy - well done, this reads well and I like the idea of the witch destroying everyone in the crowd - ha! I think, as Jackie suggests, you need to highlight the 'power source' aspect just a little more obviously - and I think you can do this with a bit more poetry too... so give Arcane more of a speech, something like...
"I am a powerful witch! The animals that scurry in the night are my friends and my army! The earth, wind and water are the sources of my power... happy to do bend to my command... oh yeah, and fire too!' (At which point she unleashes hell upon the crowd!).
