Hey Sandy - my feedback is very simple: go for it! Looks like you're ready to rock and roll. Your 'matte painting' breakdown seems to suggest you're including the floor plane too... but I'm assuming this is a mistake?

A couple of other things to think about: in terms of now thinking about your Art Of and the branding of your project documentation... I'd like you too look at forging a more sympathetic relationship between your branding and the sensibilities of your artist; right now, you're using that chunky typeface when perhaps something more 'artisanal' might be more 'on message'? Go here for lots of inspiration: https://www.1001fonts.com

I'd like to see you give as much time and energy to thinking about the 'whole package' of your presentation as it relates to your artist and your visual concept - as if your 'Art Of' is an artefact we might have brought back from your city as a souvenir.

The other thing is... please complete your reviews in accordance with your previous feedback about 'not' posting them at the end as some kind of after thought or token gesture or 'box ticking' exercise. These are opportunities to get better at something in a gradual and manageable way, and to receive feedback when you actually need it. You do need to improve your understanding and approaching to writing academic, evidence-based arguments, and I want you to resolve these gaps now - not later. You're putting together a really strong body of work for WIM? and I've beeb very encouraged by your creative commitment to this project, but I don't want to be repeating myself on your feedback proforma re. 'project management'. It's likely that writing in a second language on complex films using complex ideas represents a challenge for you, but it's a challenge I'm expecting you to meet. Get them done.

More generally - I'm genuinely looking forward to seeing you get your city into 3D. Onwards! :)

  2. Oh yeah... I think it's also time you re-visited your blog template; it needs to catch up with your growing confidences as a designer: here are some nice examples of blogs where students are balancing 'personalisation' with 'professionalism'. I'd like to see you presenting your final submission from a suitably sophisticated blog :)
