Hey Sandy... okay, so there's a bit of theoretical 'hole' implied by your structure in so much as it's missing 'an idea' around which to organise and characterise your analysis. Put simply you need a 'Repulsion & ....?' in order to meet the assessment criteria, which is asking you to put the film into a theoretical context of some kind. It's also telling that you've only got 3 paragraphs here, which again speaks to the fact that you're missing content.
So... in terms of Carole's madness and Polanski's visualisation of it... all of that is good, but I suspect you might end up with a very descriptive sort of essay, where you just link what we see to Carole's unhappiness. You need an idea in here to trigger your analysis - I'm going to make the following suggestions to you, all of which orbit the idea of Carole's madness and how it's exteriorised by the mise-en-scene of the film:
Carole / Sigmund Freud / Psychoanalysis / 'The Return of The Repressed' Carole / Sigmund Freud / The Uncanny / 'The Return of The Repressed' Carole / Julia Kristen / The Abject / 'The Return Of The Repressed' Carole / Barbara Creed / The Monstrous-Feminine / 'The Return of the Repressed' Carole / Laura Mulvey / The Male Gaze
In terms of the sort of structure that will deliver the kind of undergraduate essay you're aiming for (where a specific theory is used very specifically to analyse moments in a film) check out Karris's proposal for Alien - note the emphasis on showing understanding and research around the key idea and then applying it with confidence.
